Ramadan
is a good month to all muslims. This is because muslims concentrate
on their faith and spend less time on the concerns of their everyday
lives. It is believed that the month of Ramadan was that of which
Muhammad received the first words of Allah , the quran. It is during
this month that Muslims fast. It is called the fast of ramadan and
lasts the entire month.
During
Ramadan, it is common for muslims to go to the mosque and spend
several hours praying and studying the quran. In addition to the five
daily prayers, during ramadan muslims recite a special prayer called
the trawih prayer. The length of this prayer is usually 2-3 times as
long as the daily prayers. Some muslims spend the entire night in
prayer.
Then , every
evening , muslims will go to “Bazar Ramadhan” to buy some drinks
and foods. There many seller that sell the foods and drinks. This
bazar always started from 3pm until 7.30pm before the maghrib azan.
There
were many types of foods , such as “nasi goreng” , “mi goreng”
, “ayam panggang” , “kebab “, “roti john “and others.
There were also many types of waters , such as milo , orange , sirap
and others.
Next , when it
was a maghrib time all the muslims will open the fast with kurma
and some water. After that we will eat some of heavy food. After that
all of us will go to surau or masjid to solat trawih. While we solat
trawih , there were the noisy sound of the mercun outside the masjid.
These also add the
felling of Ramadan.
At night we would all go to bed early because the next day we get up early for suhoor .
It is very difficult for myself to wake up early in the morning .
Finally
, at the last day of ramadan. I and my family go to the shopping mall
to buy some tshirt for “Hari Raya Aidilfitri”. We go to Queensbay
in Penang to get some beautiful tshirt.
There
were many people at there, There were also had a mega sale and we buy
many tshirt for “Hari Raya Aidilfitri”. “Hari Raya Aidilfitri”
was a day for muslims to strength
the relationship and each year , many are remembering the years of
the past and those who have already died. Very sad felling and many
tears , especially those of the women who easily touched.
